BBU Range
Overview
The BBU range is a range of Carbon Steel Buffer Vessels which are available on express delivery. The vessels are PED Compliant (Pressure Equipment Directive) and suitable for pressures up to 6.00 BarG.
Quality is important to GMS, hence all of our BBU Range is manufactured in the UK by our skilled engineers. All of our units are tested and provided with nameplate brackets and test certification on request.
Applications include Low Temperature Hot Water Storage, Chilled Water Storage and Combined Heat and Power Units.
Due to their quick turnaround, connection sizes and positions are as standard. If you require alternative connection positioning or sizing please contact our sales team for a quotation.
Please Note:
- Connection 1 & 2, in all instances, are fitted with internal sparge pipes
- Connection 7 & 8 are plugged in all instances
- 50mm thick Insulation is supplied as standard
- Connection positions differ relating to shell dimensions but remain in the same arrangement throughout the entire range
- Immersion Heaters and Plug Kits can be supplied at extra cost
