Located in Dubai, next to the iconic Burj Al Arab Hotel, is the 5 Star luxury waterfront resort in Madinat Jumeirah which offers 2 Grand Boutiques, 5 Tennis Courts, 2km of pristine private beach and water park.

GMS are providing eleven 5000 Litre Stainless Steel Storage Calorifiers for this project, due to be completed this month. These offer an ideal solution when domestic hot water is required in volume. GMS storage calorifiers work on the principle that stored water is heated indirectly by a primary medium (via an internal u-tube battery). In this case, the Bundles are supported by electric immersion heater.

Each of the calorifiers are insulated with 50mm of fibreglass mattresses secured to shell and enclosed in Stucco aluminium cladding. In addition to the cylinders GMS’s scope of supply also includes a control system consisting of: a West 6100+ Controller, 3–port control valve, control thermostat and high limit thermostat.

In addition to the calorifier packages two 84kW electric flow heaters are also to be provided.Electric flow heaters have no storage capacity and rely upon circulation of water through the secondary system to dissipate the heat.
